Elias Arruda is a privately held consulting company that works through five distinct Divisions: R&S [Recruitment & Selection]/Executive Search; Outplacement/Career Counseling; Bilingual (Brazilian Portuguese and English) Business Consulting Services; Business English classes (including Translation Services), Import/Export Services and Recognition of Italian Citizenship. Its vocation for delivering tailored services based in its clients ´needs makes Elias Arruda a true boutique consulting services company according to the highest international standards. It is important to notice that Elias Arruda provides its services both in Brazil and abroad whereas its headquarters are strategically located in the city of Campinas (State of S. Paulo, Brazil). Since 2018, it began to provide its services exclusively on line. The flexibility of this business model ended up consolidating its service provision also on alternative days and hours, in addition to the regular working hours and days. Thus, its performance was not affected by the limitations of the pandemic, given that its customers continue to be served in a customized way, and by those who really know them.

Regarding R&S, Elias Arruda is able to provide searching, staffing and quality talent acquisition services from permanent entry-level and internship positions to strategic top management positions - A, B & C levels - for national and multinational client companies located both in Brazil and abroad. Since its inception, Elias Arruda has afforded assistance to its client companies, assisting them not only searching for the best possible match for their job openings, but has also assisted them retaining the talents it has searched for. Its broad market know-how and experience enables its team to work as effectively as closely to the CEOs and CHROs, and such proximity and deep understanding of the client companies businesses, practices and values has resulted in extremely satisfying deployments. Some of our main features and competitive advantages are the following: (a) delivery of tailored services (focused on the client company needs); (b) talent searching aligned with each client company business strategy; (c) interview and report based in the applicants’ skills and competencies; (d) effective routine network with potential candidates of different segments; (e) assistance in developing the candidates profiles with the client company, setting out the desired skills and competencies required for each job; (f) map the job market either for regular or for more complex talent acquision or talent acquisition-related searches, including salary surveys; (g) reports periodically sent to the client company, documenting each of the Elias Arruda´s jobs evolution; (h) verification of professional references of all candidates; (i) tailored reports on all the applicants, including the information on language skills, since all candidates are interviewed and tested before going to the client company and (j) thank you messages to the candidates interviewed and not approved.

With respect to the Outplacement/Career Counseling services, Elias Arruda works both for the professional and for the companies. Regarding the services provided to professionals, Elias Arruda´s main goal is to counsel and assist those professionals enhance their personal employability. In sum, this means that we are going to (a) help them not only to search but also to enhance their job search through our contacts and expertise, (b) provide for specific guidance for résumé development and (c) tailored coaching services aiming to improve candidates’ performance during job interview processes. To the client companies and corporations, Elias Arruda provides for outplacement services for its client companies professionals who are to face career transition especially during or after M&A processes are duly concluded.

As for bilingual business consultancy, our legal department is qualified to act in two languages, English and Brazilian Portuguese, in the development of international contracts (from the beginning of the negotiation until the delivery of the contract in both languages, Brazilian Portuguese and English), opening of companies or branches in Brazil and abroad, registration and deposit of trademarks (in Brazil and abroad), and to obtain working and non-working visas for expatriated foreigners and their families, observing that we are also responsible for hiring professionals nationally and internationally for our client companies. With a flexible working team, we have a network of pre-selected professionals and institutions abroad, especially, but not exclusively, in Europe and in the USA. As for trademarks and patents, we have a network of partner offices abroad, which act as a facilitator and as a complement to the services we provide to INPI in Brazil.

Regarding corporate English (“business English”), Elias Arruda offers a personalized tutorial, markedly business oriented, carried out 100% online, both for professionals already fluent in this language as well as for beginners, which is aimed at professionals or companies (as we are also hired to work in house) who need to master this language consistently and quickly, acquiring a vocabulary consistent with the real needs of corporate demands, enabling them to act in negotiations, presentations and writing corporate documents, according to the highest standards and market practices. Also, Elias Arruda´s Language Division prepares and translates documents and texts from the English language into Brazilian Portuguese or vice versa (that is, it elaborates texts whose source language is Brazilian Portuguese or English), e.g. content of websites, labels, packaging, corporate documents, folders, flyers, contracts, etc.

Regarding the recognition of Italian citizenship, Elias Arruda entered into a partnership with renowned Italian lawyers in order to make this service possible, which relates to recognition carried out by the courts, as we believe that this is the safest modality (we have been 100% successful so far) and more budget friendly (there is no need to travel to Italy at any stage of the process) to be offered to our customers.

As for the import/export, under the direction of partner Dr. Carla Barbosa, we offer our clients the service of opening sites and distribution centers around the world, working from the selection and rental / acquisition of the property in which the facilities of our clients will be located, until the local conduct of recruitment processes and selection of employees and service providers also local (e.g. accountants, lawyers, etc.), in order to enable the operations of our clients abroad. The partner's know-how stems from her pioneering experience in the Legal Area of the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency - APEX Brasil, in which she carried out such services, especially but not exclusively, in the USA and Europe. It is with this expertise that we have been operating for years in world trade, facilitating the commercialization of products and services, including and mainly the international marketing of carbon credits markedly to the European and North American markets.
